Bought second hand original Galaxy watch (that looks like Classic with rotating bezel) works like charm in every aspect. Glad that what original owner told me was true, that my current watch stayed in drawer many years unused with 5 almost unused original straps.

I love when companies end support for proprietary software and hardware they themselves created to isolate you from everyone else and keep you in their walled garden 💗

Still rocking my original Galaxy Watch... and still not finding a proper upgrade or feature to look for a replacement. It stills works like day one... and it´s now almost 7 years old, and plan to use it until it dies...

So Shamesung, it's time to end support for your tellys...they are on Tizen as well.
Another sh.tty company leaves its users high and dry...

Going to WearOS is still a big mistake Samsung has made. Before it happens, I have no problem getting up to seven days of battery life under casual use. Since the migration to WearOS, I can't even get almost two days of battery life under casual use. It's why I ended up selling the Galaxy Watch5 and got myself a secondhand Galaxy Watch3. I'll keep using the latter for as long as it's still physically alive.

The Google threat that once was , and YES Google nearly shat their pants!

Anyone who's anyone has noticed Google's ans Samsung's partnershipincreasingly bo ding ans thriving since the first year this came about

the industry has gone crazy, every year it releases new models that are not an improvement over the last, nor do they bring better features, samsung has the worst tracking sensors and has never made them work as well as apple and huawei

of course I have it and the battery still lasts 2.5 days, and everything works great

They forgot about Watch 3 anyways ! So they can end the support starting from tomorrow. I don't know what support is Samsung talking about because Watch 3 barely received anything ! What a joke !

I was thinking about Samsung, Apple and Co. when writing the text and unfortunately I didn't express strongly enough that I mean the development of phones in my theory. You are right, Chinese manufacturers are much more innovative, they develop new stuff for their phones every year, they try out different camera setups and different designs, meanwhile Samsung, Apple and Google are reselling the same sh*t and call it an upgrade. And you are so right about influencers and others who hype the products.

I w7sh you all the best, hopefully Chinese companies stay with their current strategy.

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2024Mean stealing law favor them not improvement what stealing law? the fact that they "stole" a 1 inch sensor from sony? the fact that they "stole" a partnership with sony for the lytia series? the fact that they "stole" partnerships with TCL (Xiaomi) and BOE (Oppo and Vivo)?

You're acting like western manufacturers don't steal anything. What about Apple then, they "stole" USB-C by your definition then. And what about Samsung? They have so many patent disputes coming one after the other.

Chinese laws are lenient on their fellow companies, if you don't understand that then no one can help you, in the same way western laws are more lenient on western companies and governments actually help the companies. Just because you hear more about it from Chinese news companies doesn't mean it only happens in China, western companies are shrewd and hide their workings.

Besides, on the global front, what do the Chinese actually "steal"? You just hate for the sake of hating, there's so many things to criticize and your 2 iq brain can only go for the stoopidest conclusion.

I still have my Active in good use. Never needed an upgrade and will continue to use it until it breaks down. Haven't downloaded anything in ages.

This also includes whatchfaces so this is a huge change and it sucks tbh. They should at least give us until 2030 because the watches can be used that long easily.
Still rocking my Galaxy Watch3 because 3 day battery life is worth more than anything wearOS offers. Works great and smooth like the day I bought it.
