I do hope these 20 millions include;
Samsung Galaxy S4(octa), Samsung Galaxy S4(Exynos), Samsung Galaxy S4(mini), Samsung Galaxy S4(Zoom),
Samsung Galaxy S4(Active), Samsung Galaxy S4(S800).
You can exclude S800 version as it's still pretty new but 5 versions are enough to make a sale reach a count of 20 million in 2-3 month time. After all, Sammy is a well-known marketing company.
But I wonder, why every time they came up with this "shipped" statement rather than "sold-out"? This defines, they are being shipped if demand exceed supply but what funny is, this doesn't mean sold.
Being shipped and sold: There is a huge difference between them. Shipping - They still aren't bought by retailers as they are in the storage areas. On the contrary, sold - Means they are bought by retailers who paid duties to clear them out of the custom, paid transporting expenses to the shop and then credit receipts of the 'sold' S4 units.
Here, after reading the source article - I am on the fact that, "They ARE NOT sold", they only are shipped.
If you are not a hardcore or brainwashed fanboy, may be you'll understand my point of posting but if you are opposite. Don't bother replying to it as I will only be laughing on you and won't count you as worth my debating colleague.

There are many among average users don't even know that HTC One existed. Poor marketing, then you expect it to sell more than s4? Iphone 5 is pretty obsolete model now and sales may not be good as before. Are you confused between subsidy and discount? I don't see any discount for contract-free Galaxy s4 devices.

I'm an S4 owner for a month now with some disappointments (overheating/battery), but overall fine.
It's sad that in South Africa most service providers have the S4 and the Experia Z, but no HTC One... which means the playing field is not even.
And in terms of advertising, u see far, far more S4 than anything else. I can believe the report due to the marketing I see on the product.

Samsung S4 wins hands down - storage, trueHD display, better camera, up-gradeable memory, replaceable battery, S-Health etc.. Come on IPhone you lost this battle!

Hope Samsung would sell more of the S4. I can't wait to see how many of thise who bought the device will be so happy after Samsung will release S4 advance. Don't be mad cause they are just too advance on developing techs so they can release new phone every 2 weeks.

I literally only know one person with a sgs iv. I work at a bank and have not seen one come in yet with a client. Mostly iPhone 5, some HTC ONE. And funny thing is how heavily discounted the sgs iv was only 3 weeks after launch.. Not sold out anywhere.
20million?? Yeah.. Ok.

If galaxy s4 is selling well ever than before. Why would they offer a free screen replacement, s view cover free and extra goodies in India ? I Doubt this news source.

the sad thing is this is all true because i work in a phone shop and all i hear is s4 i want s4 i want s4 now in town all i see is people with s3 and s4 its crazy

Fact is customer buy from telco, and sell to third party first hand to earn quick cash.
And no one buys and use them. Same as iPhones.
Tons of 16gb crap collecting dust at shop.. price drop like crazy.
