card.

Many peoples still buying Note 2. Y because they want to use note 2 for 5 or more years. They r not caring about note 3. Note 2 is perfect 5'5 not much bigger, good battery, amoled screen, all features available. Happy with note 2. Note 3 6inch or Note 4 7inch not interested.

I used to think phones are for make calls hehehe
So mucho is not making any phone better, greedy android and corporations are doing things very unconfty for users.
However if youy think average Joe do 5 things at the same time on their phone. Good for you!
But in the real life, more tasks menas less battery and means more costs.
Conclution, is unwise.

[deleted post]Plus the Ultra can't fit any pocket except the back of your pants. No Wacom digitizer system. No flash light - not just for picture taking. No changeable battery. Not enough battery. A nice waterproof device, but not so much features or battery usage stamina basing at how the rest of the Xperia series have been performing.

And they are getting to be super-computers, because of their ultra portability and wide potential computational use. If you think these divices are phones only, I understand why you don't like to see smartphones improving so much.
MULTI-TASKING, in Android is not like multi-tasking in a Windows PC. But both are supported in the same principle: the more RAM the better. This, to meet the CPU power.
Although in the Galaxy S4 you can play a video and do other task at the same time, just to answer your sarcasm.
So, you need an explanation of what is multitasking in Android.
To start off: I have an Xperia Pro which has 512MB of RAM and a 1Ghz single core cpu. I can do almost anything I can do on my Motorola Razr i which has 1GB of RAM and a single core 2Ghz Intel cpu (which Android takes as a Dual Core) but in the Razr i everything is much faster and I can open more than 3 times the apps I can in my Xperia Pro without a single slowdown and switch a moment from a game (NFS, for instance) to check an e-mail, open several tabs to review something in the net, etc, then go back to the game and continue where I was playing, just as quickly as "clicking" is. Why? Because of the better processor and because of the double amount of RAM available. Starting to understand?
Do you think such useful things would be possible with only 512MB of RAM? The system would have to close one app to open another, and you wouldn't have your app as you left it when switching back, they would have to reload.
That's why the more is the better in this case. And there's no gimmick here. It's a fact Android multitasking if very highly improved by more RAM available.
Now, if your beloved iOS is better at running as good as that with less hardware, good for Apple because they can save so much money that way, but the curious thing is that they cost as they had top hardware in them. Apple should give their users more for what they pay. Don't you think?
As much as iOS is optimized and polished in resources management, it needs enough RAM to run good. As much as it can run a task with 100MB of RAM where Android needs 150MB iOS eventually will choke or slow down if you use it to perform several tasks to meet the needs of your workload or for fun. So, it's good that with only 512MB or 1GB of RAM iOS does fine, but with 2 or 3GB it would do much better.
While listening to music in the background, how many tabs can you open in your iPhone browser before it starts to slow down?
Did you know that if Apple wasn't so stingy and greedy to give iPhone more RAM and more CPU power you could open more tabs and keep browsing happily?
All systems like these need RAM, and there's no lie in saying that the more is the better.

There you'll see how the Razr i performs as good as the Note 2, and when switching from task to task the Note 2 is a bit better BECAUSE it has 2GB of RAM where the Razr i has only 1. Even so, with only 1GB the Razr i did perform on par to the Note 2.
What 3GB of RAM would allow in the Razr i, for example, is the ability to go back to a task you were doing and find it AS YOU LEFT it. No matter how much apps you have opened, all of them will remain and stay as you left them when you get back to them ALL with NO SLOWN DOWNS, and you can continue what you where doing. But seems like you don't like this.
If you own a PC, or MAC, you must know that ANY system SLOWS DOWN when RAM is getting used to its maximum. You know it, right?
SO, again: THE MORE RAM, THE BETTER. In ANY computational SYSTEM.

The issue is not hardware but one of software and security. Android has issues. Whilst I enjoy my Note 1, and have played around with Note II, they are far from being the big leap forward I thought they were.
