Apple blocks UTM SE PC emulator from app stores, says it's not a retro console

Apple recently started allowing emulators on iOS, but only a restricted subset of emulators gets the ok.

                  Annnnnnd this is why android and any other pc os is better than apple os. Also i love it when reviewers review the iphone vs a android they mention camera and so on but never mention how you can literally pirate everything. I literally have a free youtube no ads, emulators, a free spotify, a movie and tv show app with all the new stuff and no ads and anime app same thing. Literally my phone is a Pirate ship.

                    This is so laughable. I hope apple users are going to enjoy being chained while I play PC games on my S24 Ultra using Winlater + Samsung Dex + Samsung TV + Sony Controller.

                    I can literally replace a gaming console with just my Android phone. 👍 (I just hope Steam makes a UI for phones, or Samsung/Google/Microsoft make a Gaming UI for Android)

                            At this point, Apple is not even trying to hide the fact that it is abusing power!

                              iPhone for simple use
                              Android for everything else.

                                    apple is not unique xi ecosystem also bans arbitrarily, apple has no party card visible maybe built into ios somehow

                                      Apple should be split up. This is straight up monopolistic. The law should prohibit companies from creating closed ecosystems of any sort, and should heavily punish anyone who breaks said law.

                                        Emulation on apple is not the best anyways

                                        Why don't we have a netflix like ecosystem for emulated games

                                        Companies like Nintendo etc just rather have their older stuff die of forever?
