All currently supported iPhones will get iOS 18, but most will miss on AI

I think you are worried about data collection, not AI per se.

If AI shorten your workflow or open new workflow why not?

For me, what I worried about is people's lack awareness and critical thinking because of AI. Instead of using your brain to think critically on the generated AI stuff, just click sent or let it run... causing blunders and mistakes.

    I just purchased an iPhone 14 Pro a month ago for AI tasks...........My next phone will be a Motorola RAZR..........The a16 is more than powerful enough to handle AI tasks when Android phones and Windows devices less powerful than the A16 will provide AI features...Apple just wants you to go out and buy another new phone, etc.....

      Whatever it’s android or iOS I don’t need AI stuff. If have wish have option to disable it. I don’t trust AI at all.

So yeah, nothing will stay on your phone and you need internet connection outside of very basic function.

                Not to mention Silicon Valley companies are partners with the NSA.

                              They could have offered the features handled by OpenAI and Microsoft's servers (ahem) to the older, lesser devices as well and keep exclusive for the latest Pros only the on-device features.
