Wow I am suprised and in a long time excited like some have written
      Jack, sdcard, LED...wow
Processor doesn't bother me but the size...
This is a brickity brick if there ever was. Cant nobody make a normal size phone, you know - under 150mm?
And no FM radio or IR blaster

Maybe next year HTC, maybe next year

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2024Also: We want all chinese Ultra phones to be sold outsi... moreWell...yea

If I pay 10 or 20% more and can buy a BMW you are damn right I am doing it and not buying a Fiat

Just cause people pay top dollar for Apple/Samsung does not mean they are willing to pay top dollar for XY "china brand"

Its like that with everythin from clothing to sneakers to food to tech

It's the first time since long that I find a new HTC product interesting and appealing. Previous attempts of HTC to stay alive in the smartphone market were, lets say, crappy at best. The camera design seems to be a bit outdated. It reminds me of an older Redmi phone as well as some older Huawei designs but it surely doesn't bother me. This one looks nice and seems to be reasonably decent. I red a comment about software support and that's to me also a big question mark. The battery size worries me a bit as well. I don't mind the curved display. Always kind of liked it except when the curvature was so big that it made it somehow difficult to use like one of the first Motorola Edge phones. This kind of screens have made a return in the mid-range segment. Never the less I hope that HTC will make some better sales with this one. To bad HTC is almost not available in Europe, at least not the western part like the BeNeLux region.

HTC my favorite brand in mobile industry, have HTC sensation , HTC ONE X+, HTC ONE S, HTC U PLAY, HTC ONE A9, HTC ONE M7, HTC U 11 EYE, HTC U 11, thats my last HTC mobile.
This is phone OK, but, nothing pro in specification, only prices is pro. HTC U 12 + is the best HTC phone and HTC ONE M7 of all time, i think HTC U 12+ is better phone than this. We won't real flagship phone like HTC U 12+ , no, midrange phones who present like flagship, no. We wan't today ultra is popular name for flagship in Android world, we wan't HTC U 24 Ultra, with, snapdragon 8gen3, 16gb ram, 512gb storage, 6.8 amoled 144hz screen, 1 inch sensor main camera, telephoto 10x, ultra wide 50mpx with AF and OIS, boomsound stereo sound, bigger batery 5200mah, 90w charging, IP 68, and HTC software HTC Sense...I will pay for this 1000e.

Reminds a lot a device from 2020, motorola Edge plus..... lovely design yet slightly outdated ...

Batteri Voltas, 13 Jun 2024This price won't stay for too long, u23 pro prices fel... moreUhhhh... I'm really curious about this. If will have good performance and camera too, it's a very interesting phone with SD and Jack (beside expensive Sony). I had HTC in the past and I loved them. But they have to focus on price. I think it's a well balanced phone (maybe a little too big)... let's wait and see.

Anonymous, 12 Jun 20246g1 is above 778, ppl complain. Same speech , but excus... moreHappy with my SD855 and will never buy iCrap or Samsung, unless they both completely reverse their phone designs :-D

Sony, HTC, and some models of Xiaomi are only things I'm looking at for the past 2 years.

Not in a hurry to upgrade, as I want more than just a faster SoC, 120Hz and better cameras.

Most phones have just features removed (IR blaster, sdcard slot, 2 active physical SIM WITH sdcard at the same time, 3.5mm headphone jack, full flat screen with NO cutout/holes, DC dimming with no PWM flickering, etc etc).

Let's face it. Modern phone competition has become a me-too competition of more of the same.

Only HTC and Sony are trying to do something different anymore.

Techfun, 12 Jun 2024This has snapdragon 7 gen 3Yeah, it's NOT a sucky Mediatek. And much better than the sucky Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in Sony Xperia 10

But I think it's a better value than, say, A55, and this is coming from a Samsung guy

Phone is fine for a mid-tier device. Brings long forgotten by other omapanys features. But it's price is much too high. I remember my HTC One M8 - metal body, exceptional audio, top components and... lower price than this model.
