05 July, 2013
The month-on-month change is negative too, breaking HTC's positive streak.

I feel sad for HTC ,actually their devices are quite good, they have the same chipsets like samsung or LG and have better construction quality and materials, what HTC failed to built is image, look at apple image is everything, because steve jobs was a genius they promoted like all who use apple products are geniuses, reality is quite contrary all those who fail to use windows and damage it pass to mac. If HTC was an US company I think their products would sell much better just because of image.

Therefore, upon your assumtion I misapprehended your statement towards me as a direct inquiry towards my happiness, completely disproves your opinion of my intelect being low.

See! I can do it too. Doesn't make my point any better, just makes me sound like a tool.

AnonD-62795, 05 Jul 2013TO HTC!!!! There are a few things you missed out on thi... morehaha... anyone here or anywhere will laugh on u dude... u giving suggestions to htc for whats good n whats not??!!! seriously sometimes i think u people r given a chance to make a smartphone coz u think u r more smarter than company's employees... dont u think htc one is one of the best phones in the market right now even it has lower specs than some other phones... the thing works differently... it depends on customers... htc has very less loyal customers than other major players n thats the big reason for its downfall... the specs of phone has nothing to do with it... they need to do is proper marketing n to give better service where i think htc lacks a lot, also their strategy of bringing new products is not good for eg they released butterfly first n soon released htc one, customers didnt knew what to buy n what to leave thus htc one wid better specs ruled while butterfly got no edge n now no one is interested on that device which affected htc, both money wise n sales wise as the company wasted many resources in developing that phone... all these things affects companies growth... n yeah their ppl know more about it so in no way i was giving suggestion but i said what i felt...

As a sidenote to the messing with the AndroidOS, I can certainly see why some makers add things (better notification togglesystems, different transitions, SMART DIALER) but I don't understand why anyone would purposely dumbdown or completely remove options that come stock with the phone (lockscreen shortcuts, battery-meters, the ability to use your phone without signing-in to anything..looking at you motoblur). Why put in the extra work, money and dev-hours to take something away?

Mr. R Sole, 05 Jul 2013Even HTC users hate HTC. Makes sence really. Blackberry has... moreDilluded much.

Blackberry are on the way down my friend, like a kamakazi pilot with no bombs on board, the only bang you'll hear though will be everyone getting BBM And their email on their phones, but blackberry is on it's way down badly.

HTC Have the potential to be the best, and lets not forget that without them, android wouldn't be what it is today, they gave us Sense, which although isn't everyones cup of tea, did change the way android looks and acts and made other companies see the potential that android has.

To be happy that they're not doing as well as they have done already is literally damning android and what it is today, see what i mean about dilluded now?

Samsung, for all it's goodness it did on the S3, has imho fallen on it's ar53 this time round due to them going a bit mental on the gestures and motions, far too many factors for a mistake to happen, i fix phones and such for a living and trust me the S4 is not without it's fair share of issues.

All phones have an achillies heel, the idea is to find one that you don't mind as much, for me the camera is the weakest part of the One, saying that, try to find a 4MP camera that can match it.

PS: Try to think before you type.

Until a few years ago, I didn't even know HTC existed - it was not sold in my country or, at least, very little, because I had not known nor seen anybody with their devices before.

But I gotta give it to the company for making some of the most beautiful designs and amazing smartphones I have ever seen. In fact, the HTC One is one of the only two phones that ever made me excited and genuinely want to own it.

                            TO HTC!!!!

There are a few things you missed out on this year!

Please change your phones next year to reflect this!

An SD Card! You simply have to give your customers this.

A removable battery, people want more power, simple.

Stop messing with android, eg: you've went and simply removed the CRT effect from the version of android you have? Why? Theres no point.

Let the bluetooth work with BT peripherals, the six axis controller has never and doesn't work with HTC Sense! Again, WHY!!

Research your competitors! If they're going to bring a flagship out and it's got a snapdragon 600 in it and it's clocked at 1.9, then clock yours at 1.95 or get a beefier processor, i know you knew about the 800 at the time.

Marketing! Flood the planet with HTC, keep it dark and simple.

Stop S-Offing your bloody bootloader, you know it'll get cracked one day.

IF you do these things, I have an inkling that your sales may turn around.

PS: Lastly, TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS THAT YOU ARE LISTENING!

Honestly, it isn't hard for you to do literally all of these things.

You want money? Then do it.

The "unibody" is still at least 3 seperate pieces, and the craftmanship had issues with the aluminum front and back hanging over the plastic sides and peeling up in the initial production run. I also don't like the chalkboard feel of brushed aluminum (seriously, rub a fingernail on an HTCone and tell me you didn't cringe). It probably doesn't help that the only time I've seen someone who owns one in person, they had it in a bright orange plastic case..completely concealing any sense of craftmanship.

Even HTC users hate HTC. Makes sence really. Blackberry has the potential to be the top of the pile, however the crown is rightly held by Samsung (for the time being) followed closely by Crapple (Due the the brainwashed masses who buy the logo to look cool). Third is Sony (awesome), followed closely by Blackberry.

Mark my words, Blackberry will be KING again. Notice however HTC has no place anywhere anymore HAHAHA HTC stands for Hidious Trash Central (Fact) even Nokie with WP beats HTC.
