Disappointed to see this from Apple. People who wanted to fet away from Google often looked at apple as a 'decent' alternative.
They shot their foot with this one imho.
I hope they at least make this AI bs part an optional download so we can be sure this doesn't end up on our phone if we don't want to??
Cz I highly doubt 'opting out' would stop the AI trash from stealing our user data. Just that it will be done behind the scenes...

Never our personal data, online behavior, search history, etc... has been so much used for corporate gains.. Not since Facebook... There is no privacy anymore.
Google better step up as well..
They buried Nokia with their Android (Nokia fault for insisting in their symbian crap OS)
And now? Ai may overstep Google as a search option..
I know I use CHATGPT for a lot of stuff.. It gives me all info I want and in a organized clean way.. And I know many folks are already using CHATGPT as well for the same reason.
