Those buying Qualcomm's S-variant chips are just enabling this BS.

SShock, 15 Jun 2024So, 3 more years of Nokia phones, but now all of them with ... moreGen 3 means launching between Q4 2023 and Q3 2024. Series 6s means weaker than series 6

So, 3 more years of Nokia phones, but now all of them with Snapdragon 6s Gen 3. Also this chip is so old it should be called Snapdragon 4s Gen 3... In fact it should be illegal calling it "Gen 3" when it's not even Gen 1 of anything. It's a model that predates this naming scheme entirely.

        6s Gen 3 = ❌

        698 or 695G = ✅

The only thing this cpu holds, is a fancy name

            Dear Qualcomm,

Please Launch 6 Gen 3 instead of 6s Gen 4.

Manufacturers loved the 695 which was finally started to fizzle out, they will love this too.

many brands will be happy with this.. yess let's use this for more than 50 phones. I'm not mad if it costs $200...

To be honest no need for this CPU at the first place.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the almighty 695 being reborn again as "8ssss- Gen3."

                        bruh

Lmao I wouldn't have bought a phone with a cruddy 695 when it launched years back, let alone today. 💀

This rebranding name fiasco should be ended, it's quite deceiving and mislead the customer.
