Sony may bring two-layer transistor pixel technology for all three cameras on the Xperia 1 VII.

    The VI is already obsolete and the VII will be obsolete before it comes out. In any case, let's hope that they keep expandable memory and headphone jacks, not that I'll probably be able to buy one where I live anyway.

                  Sony can be new iPhone in India if they decide to launch Sony Xperia VI in India at INR 149999 Camera lovers will buy it of course cuz this has Variable Optical Telephoto Zooming System unlike Fixed & Limited Optical Zooms on Flagships. Even Oppo Find X7 Ultra & Vivo X100 Ultra cannot do this.

                        Imx888 has 83% of its light capabilities while being less than half size.
                        Much better solution.

                        Chinese brands could keep performance by buying 1/1.28" exmor T.
                        They do not because of price.

                        1/2.3" exmor T can easily beat imx890/lyt700 (1/1.56)

                                      I like that design but the leak is obviously fake.
                                      I remember there was a "leak" about the Xperia 1 VI with a joke "egg carton box" image attached

                                        I guess the rumoured lost of Xperia branding is up for debate.

                                        I'd like the idea and I like the implementation but I'm not sure waiting another year for this phone. The 1 VI is good enough minus the so-so telephoto. But I'm hopeful. Maybe waiting is fine for 1 iii users.
