jiyen235, 19 Jun 2024honestly though, I kind of understand why NVIDIA's ign... morethey are doing it because there is no competition, even though people say there is a duopoly(amd and nvidia) it is actually an nvidia monopoly. people say nvidia is expensive but they keep buying nvidia graphics cards over amd graphics cards and the fact that most laptops use nvidia gpus makes things even worse.

        honestly though, I kind of understand why NVIDIA's ignoring their PC gaming parts but if they wanna ignore it, sure, do it, DON'T milk the consumers to death though man. 4060 is basically a 3060 but with the 40 gen's features, the 4070 Ti was supposed to be called the 4080, just wacky stuff all around man. Prices are so much higher, value is so much lower. No RTX 4050, showing how NVIDIA literally doesn't care about anyone who spends under 300-ish dollars. Like yikes man.

        In a terrible market like this, AMD can't just swoop in, price right and get huge chunks of the market, oh no, they can't do it, they gotta milk consumers as well with cards like the 7700 XT and 7900 XT being overpriced upsells. Like damn man, PC gaming is screwed unless Intel can do some magic.

        Anyways, I think this AI thing is going to last half a decade more, after that NVIDIA will either go all in on AI and create faster and faster chips to maintain their value OR their AI train will come to a stop and not many would buy their AI products, leading to them going back to gaming. I hope the latter happens as it's good for the market but idk.
