If we look at Vivo and their S19 we see a 6000mah battery in 7.3 mm body a former sister company to oneplus
This alone gives credibility to battery development in the Chinese smartphone space
I'm not saying the marketed claims are 100% true but it's not intelligent to dismiss it entirely

That's more energy density than any EV or maybe a semi solid state battery. One plus should consider making a E bike or EV with this battery

premium batteries have a maximum of 160w liters no one can beat that, 4 year warranty and a percentage when the battery is replaced is all that is needed, think it's a new Chinese scam

If not, that's a huge leap!
As for the 4 years vs 800 cycles, or many cycle in these 4 years?
Because if it's only charged only one of 2 day, that's only 730 cycles 😋

I bought Xiaomi, but the Xiaomi i had before the A72 couldn't last 18 months and the battery was useless (Refused to fully charge, drained like mad - it was basically dead).
Samsung is Great in terms of lifespan, but i'm boycotting them due to the no 3.5mm jack nonsense (The mid-range don't even seem to have a DAC, so passive donlge is not an option and active dongles drain the battery in no time, so they are ridiculously impractical).

Xiaomi is also not great, but not as terrible as Samsung. I don't know how Samsung battery can be so bad, it takes a year to degrade to 80% and the battery is dead after 2 years.

Dear OnePlus,
At first fix your display green line issues, then talk about new innovations! Focus more on sustainability rather than innovation. After one year warranty period, phone turns into garbage. Reparability cost is as high as the new midrange phones. I used OnePlus 8 pro and I learned my lesson. "A burnt child always fears fire."

Facts, 22 Jun 2024Might want to reconsider as "The BV100 can produce 100... moredont know if its green tech, would that mean we need to charge phone/laptop only once during its usual lifetime or does they come with factory precharged without needing a charging port at all? maybe this 50year battery is useful inside glacier ocean devices, anyway 4 years of battery life & just 2 years of OS updates :)
