OnePlus had 1600 cycles which is double the industry average of 800 cycles since OnePlus 10t.

From what I have noticed with battery trends over the long period of time is that there are 2 varieties, one you get smaller capacity like 4000 or 4500mAh but it charges faster or you get higher capacity 5000+ but it charges a bit slower. (When 80W or 100W were new) Now they are just saying that their capacity is higher which is density, which is main technology advancement and also it charges faster relative to previous generation. Like they made the battery 6100 mAh but instead of only charging at 80W it can do 100W which is a good flex.

It‘s because Apple does not use its battery capacity in mAh for advertisement or spec sheets. That’s why they don’t have a typical (=advertised) number. I also said before that Wh is a better figure than mAh especially when comparing bigger devices like laptops and tablets that can have multiple cells in parallel.

I once researched some numbers and did some own measurements. See for the Moto G5, the number in brackets is more comparable to the numbers of iPhones.

Well if me criticizing apple negatively is hating I guess I am a hater

But how I see mediatek, Snapdragon Samsung etc every single brand should be criticized

But please share the grams I'll say I am a fan of learning something new

But follow what your preaching instead of telling me that I am incapable of a neutral conversation which ironically is you NOT being neutral

You can make observation on the topic and maybe present a discussion for me to participate in it could be I am biased in one subject area but neutral in another

Your taking the easy way out and making blanket statements on your perception of me...

Where were you when I made a neutral statement on battery technology being beneficial for both thinner phones and slim devices? Maybe that doesn't support a confirmation bias ?

BV100 by BetaVolt company this is what i am waiting for.
Soon or later will go mainstream. A first nuuclear powered battery lasting 50+ years on a charge.
I heard some prototypes were already n testings.
if this pass then the glacier battery from Oneplus will looks cringe even its like an alien technology now compared to Li-Po and Li-Ion batteries used by other competitors.

IpsDisplay, 21 Jun 2024Thanks for this I will be using this in my future internet ... moreI actually know some more numbers and that weight to capacity ratio was industry standard. For example, the 2 years newer Moto G5 has a battery of 2800 mAh and weighs 42 grams. Also, I told you before already that Apple‘s capacities are average capacity which is a lower value than typical capacity that android manufacturers advertise. For example, they‘d put in a 4815mAh battery and advertise it as 5000mAh typical. But because you are incapable of having a neutral discussion because you are a hater of one brand, you would not mention that. In contrast, I am not a hater of a brand or OS or something, I appreciate all phones equally.
