    They should either release the Pixel 9a now alongside the rest of the lineup or just forget about it altogether, as what has historically happened is that the regular Pixel is too similarly specced and too similarly priced that the A series phone becomes totally redundant.

        I hope that the modem is improved. I might buy this depending on reviews. Hopefully it’s a good upgrade over my iPhone 11 and if not then I’ll probably wait for the IPhone 16 Pro Max or Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

          How do you know that next year they will leave Samsung! They will think that they are not going to sell many pixel 9 so they will launch it before the iPhone to get some sales from the unsuspecting

              those will be the last "cheap" pixel phones... as soon as google will use TSMC for their pixel 10 series, they will cost a lot because of high qualcomm soc prices. Snapdragon 8 gen 3 already costs 200$ for smartphone companies and 8gen4 will cost 30% more than 8g3... close to 300$ for the soc alone..
