Razr 50 Ultra looks cool.
Just wished Motorola would try to compete a bit more. They seem to only sell in few markets.

    If Moto gave a more stable, bit faster and longer OS support.

    Then sure, I would pick Moto flip over Samsung, especially because Moto is more vanilla Android.

    But 3 OS updates and 4 years of quarterly security patches on a 1200 euro device I use a lot of apps on, that require a secure phone?

    No

    Not to mention the just began rolling out Android 14 in some regions on Razr 40 Ultra, A15 is around the corner, Samsung released A14 in october of 2023 and even other slower brands run A14 for multiple months already.

    I don't trust Moto on that regard, and going from bi monthly to quarterly is silly at best.

    Not to mention that their A14 is half finished because, here is the reason: they ran out of time.

    So your nearly 99% stock and skinless UI is too much to release a update 8 months after final release, and be complete.

    Awesome...

    Their hardware is amazing, but their OS and it's support are so mediocre, I wonder why they bother at this point.

    It is so bad that I could almost say it is the same as no support at all.

        Z Flip5 is 700 euro like the Razr 50. To compare these 2 specs then the Razr 50 is just too expensive with the D7300.

        Just like that Blackview Hero 10 is crazy expensive for Helio G99 and 12/256GB version of it is 550 in just one previous article in here while you people write 400 Euro for it's price that is also crazy for the G99 from something 200 euro phone.

        And for the Razr 50 it just have middle class specs but the price is over 700 euro so it's not even middle class anymore.

        8+ gen 1 and 8 gen 2 chips in phones are like 400-500 euro range in middle class phones like Poco series that are middle class phones cause their cameras are not good and the cost cut on other parts too. For just flip function to have on a phone that cost like 300-400 euro is just crazy. You get D8300U in a phone under 300 euro while Flip phone with weaker D7300 in a 700 euro plus

          "Don't want a foldable flip phone". Rollable phone is the future. Only fashion centric people would buy this.
