This is bad news, apple is going to allow 40W peak for 1 minute in the overall charging curve
And then triple the price of the sold separately charger
Or they will slow down the charging limit to 10W bias software and tell customers they did it to preserve smartphone battery life for older models

The issue is iPhone 15 Pro Max charging slows down to 3 minutes per 1% after 80%. It makes it a long wait when I am traveling and want a 90+% charged battery instead of just 80%

for e.g,charging an iPhone at 20w speed does similar amount damage and generates similar amount of heat to the battery as charging an oppo/oneplus/vivo phone with 120w speed simply because the battery health engine in oneplus and other company's devices helps the battery to withstand such fast charging without drastically decreasing the battery health as doing the math might make you think
Meanwhile ,Apple,Samsung,Nothing,Google,sony,and others give consumers stupid excuses that the reason they don't use fast charging is because "faster charging is not good for long term battery health",but that is not necessarily true ,e.g
Despite the oneplus 12 having 100w charging support ,oneplus still claims 80% after 1600 charge cycles which is even less than what Apple claims for their own iPhone battery with slower charging .
THE SUMMARY OF ALL THIS MESSAGE IS THAT THE REASON WHY SOME COMPANIES DON'T OFFER FAST CHARGING IN THEIR PHONES IS SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO CHOICE ,SINCE THEY LACK ADVANCED BATTERY TECHNOLOGIES IN THEIR DEVICES ,NOT NECESSARILY BECAUSE FAST CHARGING DEGRADES THE BATTERY

Good strategy to panic users. Because iPhone users everyday go to settings and look at battery health percentage. So fast charging will decrease health faster.

Full exposure for Samsung 🤷🏻♂️.

SShock, 10 Jul 2024Dude, it was literally tested by GSMArena, with Samsungs ow... moreit doesn't have to be 40% faster, because each company has their own charging "curvature" when it reaches 70-80% to 100%, it'll most likely take half as much to twice the time to get to 100% from there...
for example: 10min from 0 to 80% and another 10min from 80 to 95 and another 5min to 100%.
also, this website that is basically run fanboys from sammy and apple, have said that their 45w charger is basically charging their phones at the same rate as the 25w ones.

[deleted post]Dude, it was literally tested by GSMArena, with Samsungs own original 45W charger and the difference was like in seconds. I've used SuperFast charger with 65W on my S23 Ultra and it charged basically identical time to my regular PD 2.0 fast charger with 25W rate. And the 30W Voltme GAN charger that I have, also supports Samsung's SuperFast charging, no difference.
I don't know what Samsung is selling or claiming, but it gives anything but meaningful results. 45W should be like 40% faster than 25W, yet it's not. Not even remotely.
