Huawei Mate 70 launch reportedly delayed

Huawei is looking to push its Mate 70 launch into mid-to-late Q4 this year.

But you are right about the status of P and Mate series. P used to be camera-focused and Mate productivity-focused, but over the years the difference diminished. Huawei is in the same situation as Samsung with their S and Note series. Eventually, Samsung merged the Note with the S series. Maybe Huawei will do the same.

      I'm sure after what happened to Crowdstrike the chinese people will push thru with this. Are you even aware mainland China was safe from the outage due to homegrown investments? And that Huawei was demolishing two other brands prior to ban despite majority of sales being in China?

        Can Huawei please launch a newer enhanced version of Mate 20x, calling it 'Mate 70x' or whatever with a 7.2 inch oled screen and 16GB/512 specs? I still can't find a better substitute to beat my Mate20x.

          Mate is business flagship, Pura is for photo shooting.

If Huawei truly needed compatibility with Google apps to sustain themselves, they would've gone under a long time ago. Mate 70 probably won't do good if released globally but as long as Huawei sells enough phones domestically, which they probably will, then they'll be just fine. Keep in mind the Mate 60 Pro sold very well when it launched in China

              If 9000s was any new chip, then it would support newest stuff unlike kirin 9000.
              But still no bt5.3/5.4, no ufs4.0 nor ddr5t or 5x ram.

                Hope it brings some great camera improvements. Huawei has been making soke great phones. Sad about the lack of Google services.
