Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra's battery capacity may disappoint

As a loyal S Ultra fan, I'm getting tired of Samsung's heavy phones with no upgrade in battery capacity. I do appreciate the flat display, hope they'll stick with that for 26 series, as I won't be getting an S25 Ultra.

Also, people who buy flagship phones started using their phones more and more for everything and for heavy tasks.
In my opinion I don't understand this trend of using phone for everything. I mean, I have laptop or PC for real work. Even web browsing or light tasks I like to do more on laptop than the small display of phone. My phone is just adjacent object, not something that is glued to my hand. That's why I don't understand the need for very powerful smartphones. To each their own I guess.

Samsung needs to catch up with battery tech really bad.
The S25 Ultra needs to have 6000mAh and be a silicon carbon tech, those batteries are really good.

I'm not defending companies here but consumers really can't differentiate between needs and wants
You can't expect drastic changes every single year because all the advancements in hardware has slowed down because everything that there is, is already at its best
And limitations are held by technology
And regarding this battery thing
5000 mah is sufficient for all day use with good efficiency, if you can't live with that, go touch some grass

Isn't it ironical how even Apple does adjust the battery size of their iphones to what the chip will need?
S23U had better battery life than S24U because SD 8 Gen 2 is less power hungry than Gen 3.
Charging speeds aside (some people like me charge their phone slowly at night), the battery of S24U should have been larger than it is, especially considering the behemoth size of Samsung their Ultra phones.

Yes, but Samsung doesn't give a damn about its pigeon customers! They haven't been innovating for years! They've just deigned to refine their latest fold because of the Chinese and their superior products. No Samsung, they couldn't care less! Their 45w load for years is just as unacceptable!
The good thing is that consumers like me have sworn never to give another cent to this brand of disrespectful bastards!!!!

That is great news because maybe they will finally reduce the weight. If you see a 5000mAh phone that weighs 232g (because of pencil, titanium frame and all that stuff) and the only thing you want is even more battery with even more weight, then that’s a you problem
