G04 , 01 Aug 2024Without 126gb/6gb RAM as base storage, no buy! Poor people today use and make money with YouTube, TikTok, Instagram,...they need cheap capable smartphone that can make clear videos, capable to edit videos and play PUBG, Fortnite, and Asphalt 9 for under $80.

This Galaxy A06 is disappointing.
The Infinity-U notch is difficult to accept, knowing that the Moto G04 uses the punch hole.
And the A06 is basically what the A05 should be.
If only the chipset were the Helio G88 or G91...

What can be run on... moreI think his point is that Tecno which is generally ultra budget and targeted towards markets in Africa has more GB Ram than Samsung which has a higher price for its name but I agree that 8GB ram would be kind of pointless on a phone this budget range compared to other things like battery

As someone that uses their A03 (with Unisoc T606 which has lower clockspeed than G85) for Genshin, I'm a bit disagree tho. You can a bit push towards its limit tho, but it won't be as smooth as higher phones, but it's still tolarable in my experience.
I can confidently say that G85 is miles better than P35/G35, because G85 has 2 performance cores, while P35/G35 didn't got any performance core.

I think this phone is for people that were using the A04 and not upgrading for A05. And here is what I thought about Samsung phone. You will not get as much experience without at least buying the midrange starting with "2" ex. A25, A35 .etc
Sure you'll get the latest software even with low-end phone like my A04e where it runs the latest one UI 6.1. Been using it for 2 years now and it start frustating me. Unlike my previous A7 which still run smoothly although it already shows it's age. The "0" series samsung is only good for basic task as it intended to be. And it only does that for 2 or 3 years. It is usable, sure. But remember G85 is a bit old now although it is miles better than P35. I'm not sure how it handles more resource demanding software in the future.
Now I switched to this P55 with D6080 under the hood. With the same price as the A05 it is twice as good from every aspect except for the UI features.

About time we see the fingerprint sensor. Really bummed to still see a 720p screen though, 1080p should be a given. Please be 90Hz.

Would be a decent deal in the US assuming it comes with the necessary LTE bands, definitely a crap deal of a phone if you are in a market with actual selections of choice in mobiles
