Galaxy A06 only tries to compete with Redmi 13C & the A3 phones from Xiaomi.
If you look at those, the only features they’ve got are a 90Hz panel & a fingerprint sensor. (those are the expected differences)

considering the price 6GB should be minimum for A16/A26 and 8GB for A36/A56
A06 will be available with 4GB I think

as always best budget option from X6 series will be A16 and best midrange A36 ... and as always you get better deal for price from previous generation like A34 today (compared to A35/A55)

FINALLY a fingerprint reader, thank god. I don’t want to see any more phones without at least A73 cores and a fingerprint reader in 2025 anymore. The dimensions also tell that the bezels and thickness will be reduced which is nice. The disappointment about the slower charging is understandable, but that probably contributes to the thinner design as well (though I would have preferred 25W). Will be interesting to see if there are any other upgrades. Maybe they make that second camera 5MP ultrawide instead of the useless 2MP. The back also looks like glass as well but that often happens with these renders so I wouldn’t trust it. I expect more information to leak in the coming days. It‘s also possible they will just leave the rest the same and lower the price, which I wouldn’t be against either. A Samsung phone in the 80€ range (like Redmi A3) would be interesting to see, because the A0x line never really dropped much below 100€. Or they keep the price and just upgrade the base storage variants, making something like 128/6GB standard instead of 64/4 on A05.
