I'll buy two right away, it's about time someone took another look at clamshell design. There's a very large market out there, full of parents who are reasonably tech savy but hate touch screen phones.

I would love Morotola to do this, and take out a new version of the v8 or v9, that would be amazing.

This is very interesting. Just last week I was looking at a someone with a clamshell phone circa 2006 and thought wow what a dead form factor. I guess maybe not. I personally wouldn't ever use a clamshell anymore unless the design was truly innovative

To the folks who think clamshell or flip phones are extinct cleary has no idea of Docomo and the amazing high quality clamshell phones they have been releasing for years, they are not dead trust me it just needs to be done right

Anonymous, 16 Jul 2013Why would someone buy this? Why not? 10 years ago we have phones in many form factors and i love all of them, now most phones are just touchscreens, the same shape with different sizes, it's boring, let them bring some diversity from the past.

Why not make a full qwerty slider with high end specs. Miss the form factor....
