The Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Galaxy Buds3 are eerily similar to Apple's products.

Don't see anything surprising they have been doing it since 2018, first cutting into the screen then removing chargers from boxes and making the base S series more 'iphone' shaped the list goes on, the best part is they mock apple for something and copy them few months later

      Some TWS have a stem "OMG AIRPODS KNOCKOFFS" and by that same logic, the airpods are dollar store earphones knockoff because of the stem. 😉

        It seems that these products are not providing the expected benefit and are only useful for washing your hands!! A tech veteran knows about that lawsuit Apple won against Samsung for copying the design of the original iPhone!!! After that Samsung took the right path in terms of its designs, obviously it had already had a lost trial for plagiarism!!! Now they have returned to the same thing but in a quite shameless way

If you saying that guy that is CEO, and his team of people around him (assistants)cant check what his company put on main pages of sites, you and him should see doctor as your attention and memory span is tad low, as even if Samsung show 10000 every month, maybe 20 of them have big impact on brand visibility, and maybe 2-3 are flagship that push brand recognition.

              I agree, the Orange watch band and action button were a bad choice. But there were stem design earbuds before the airpods, Apple didn't "pioneer" this. I'm on the Galaxy buds 3 and they're perfect, the mic quality is really good now that the mic is closer to my mouth, and the gestures are very intuitive.

              Also, apple just lifted a ton of features from android and OneUI for the latest iOS version so I don't think it's a big deal.

If he had to greenlight each and every fridge, display panel, chipset, phone, he'd have gone mad. He's a businessman first and foremost, he's supposed to manage the business, there's a reason why there's separate divisions to a company AND why there's a separate director for the mobile division. It's HIS job to make sure the mobile division does everything fine.

                        Wasn't this guy a white-collar criminal, anyway? Maybe he should bribe someone, instead of barking orders like this wasn't all happening while he's at the helm of Samsung.

                        It is not surprising if the brand goes down the drain somewhere down the line when a criminal is in the top position like this guy.

                          Its about time someone gives the Samsung Mobile division a kick up the Axx.
                          Not only have they not innovate new fones as each is just an iteration of the former over and over again, think of their top of the line S24 Ultra & The Fold series for the last few years been more or less the same thing, so boring (for the record I own s24u but sick of it as every year is more or less the same thing....boring).
                          Samsung became complacent & lack motivation to innovate until its too late, I mean they were the pioneer of the The Fold 6 years ago and not much had changed since the Fold 4 till now 3 years later. Same old Narrow front screen, battery size, camera, no S-Pen slot....while competition overtakes them and frankly they are sitting in the bottom position in terms of hardware and designs in 2024 when the competitors release their Foldables such Pixel Fold or the chinese Foldables goes fully global!
                          The real innovator I feel is LG Mobile; they spent big in R&D but unfortunately never knew to market them & capitalise on them globally and had poor major software updates. I'm in Aust and I could not get the LG V60 one of their last foldable which was most durable compared with the Samsung Fold but as it was never even release here, only in the US & Canada AFAIK. They would have done so much if they were still around, think of the Rollables would have been out by now if LG were still here.
                          Samsung is just either copying themselves or someone else (e,g. Apple) now; very sad. I would be furious too if I was the Chairman!

In Korea, Samsung is like, the head of their economy, covering even the real estate and hotel industry, household electric devices, and more than that. The mobile devision, while they made a lot of profit for Samsung, still is nothing more than a mere devision, a section of the whole corporate.

                                    Anything that'll get rid of TM Roh at the helm of the mobile division and have him replaced with a fresher mind would be very welcome. He is singlehandedly responsible for making Samsung the LAUGHING STOCK of the Android world in 2023-4, especially in terms of foldables and software quality and performance (animations/fluidity)...

                                      I thought the whole Galaxy S line was copy from iphones in first few years !
                                      And they remove headphones jack , chargers and other useful thighs from there phone after apple's . So why he surprised now ?
