What the hell, it is okay? That huge gap between 2 cluster? Hope it going well.

As long is not power hungry (should have improved with the 3nm process) and reduced substantially overheating, for me those specs are impressive

I have an 888 phone, so I'm hyped in changing to this new processor

Maybe now we're gonna be able to play the horribly optimized Genshin without heating up the phone beyond 40 degrees. Like bruh that game is TOO cpu bound smh.

xslvrxslwt, 06 Aug 2024It actually matters, and quite a bit at it too. Because Qua... moreI was referring that for my use, so much so that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is 30% better on CPU than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, I don't think the current smartphones are using this, the iPhone even tries to use this performance, now that Apple has released PS4 AAA games, but on Android I don't see much sense paying for a device of the year, remembering that I'm talking about my use and used the performance of the Kirin 9010 as an example, anyway... I'm also curious about the Dimensity 9400, I think it'll be better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, just like I prefer the Dimensity 9300 than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, I just think it's really weird how Apple can stay ahead in the core single, it doesn't matter to me, but it's really interesting to watch.

Anonymous, 06 Aug 2024Meh, I would like to see frequencies under sustained loads,... moreExactly, and that's why the single core matters. Because A17 at 4W is better than Qualcomm at, like, what - 8W?

So who cares about very high benchmarks, real life performance is what matters.

SixSeis, 06 Aug 2024I don't care about it, the Kirin 9010 already serves m... moreIt actually matters, and quite a bit at it too. Because Qualcomm is boosting to 4ghz+ in order to get less performance than the A17 Bionic (so even worse than the previous gen apple) - that means the energy efficient spot will be useless too as OEMs won't really target it so we'll have yet another 888/G1 repetition

It sucks Qualcomm is so bad, I'm more interested in what ARM has done with their design specially made for the Dimensity 9400 as I believe it'll be the same performance (or close) with far less watts

I think we all should start boycotting Qualcomm, not because they are bad but because they're bad and are lying. Remember all the faked benchmarks for the desktop of this year, faking their "glorious nuvia design"..

lemme guess... it's the same story as the previous gens that came before it... +10% performance and 15-20% efficiency even tho they're not that efficiant.

So the rumors of ARM and Snapdragon catching up to Apple chips was a lie, as usual.

Weird taking into consideration that it was an official statement from ARM as well (that they're aiming to catch up to apple in ST), yet they're still 21%+ behind (only 4% lower comapred to SD8G3 & A17 difference)
