Minu, 26 Aug 2024Same thing with the authors listing Nokia devices as "... moreidrc about the battery type, it's all about how the device is designed, like if there's sufficient cooling, if it is near the chip, if it charges beyond its capabilities, etc. And Samsung's Note7 was most likely a design/manufacturing defect and not a fault of the battery type, if that were the case all phones using either Li-Po or Li-Ion would be portable nades lol. I've never experienced bloated batteries with Samsung phones, although I used them for at best 2 years till now and even after selling them I didn't get any complaints from the buyers or anything. It's all been fine for me and I've used these phones since the Galaxy S7 days.

They don't push the phones hard enough for the batteries to bloat lol they play it way too safe.

        Vivo V40 doesn't have any telephoto camera, only dual rear camera (main and ultrawide). while edge 50 pro has triple rear canera with a telephoto camera and its still cheaper. So i see no reason to go with V40 in that case.
        Not to forget, one can get Xiaomi Civi 14 for like only 4k more than vivo and it has 8sGen3 + a telephoto camera + dual front camera.

        And as far as V40 Pro is concerned, in that price category, moto edge 50 ultra, iqoo 12 etc are better option with much better main camera and periscope camera.
        Even at a significantly lower price, Xiaomi 14 Civi has same main and telephoto camera as Vivo V40 Pro. Only minor difference in the ultrawide camera doesn't justify the huge price difference.

        Absolutely 0 reasons to buy either of Vivo v40 or V40 Pro.

Vivo will deliver faster updates than Motorola. So far Vivo V30 and Vivo V40 are better than Moto Edge 50 Pro. But if you ignore updates, Honor 200 is far more better value for money in my honest opinion.



                    If you just want camera, then go for Vivo V40 Pro. Otherwise, Honor 200 Pro, Moto Edge 50 Ultra or iQOO 12 512GB will have great sales in Diwali sale.

                      Lol, What an absolute joke of a pricing. Might as well have not launched it at all.

                      Vivio v40 with 7Gen3 and no telephoto camera is priced higher (36,999) than Moto Edge 50 Pro (29,999) with same SOC and a telephoto camera. (256GB).
                      Infact you can get much better Xiaomi Civi 14 256GB (39,999) for just 3K more than Vivio v40. And Civi has 8sGen3 + a Telephoto Camera.

                      Vivo V40 Pro (49,999) has Dimensity 9200+ and is priced 10k higher than Xiaomi Civi 14 (39,999) with 8SGen 3 almost as powerfull as 9200+. Camera is almost comparable on both (only UW diff).
                      And then at only 2K extra you can get Iqoo 12 Pro (52,999) with 8Gen3 and better main camera and better 3x telelhoto camera with telemacro capabilities.

                      Other previous generation Flagships like Nothing Phone 2, Oneplus 11 with 8Gen2 is available at around 40,000.

It's a great Welcome cuz V Series always get Smooth Updates unlike any other phones.

It'll use same 4nm process but of 2nd generation with A79x cores to be used. 7 Gen 5 will shift to Oryon Cores & 3nm. Instead of 3rd & 4th Gen, use of 2nd is move to lower the cost of Manufacturing the SoC. I expect 7 Gen 4 & 7s Gen 3 to arrive in Q4 2024. Let's hope otherwise, Vivo is ready for 7350 in V50.

Only if users review on Amazon & Flipkart mention about it, they can listen to it cuz they don't want to listen about this from Tech Experts Community. UFS 3.1 is not happening but WiFi 6 will happen for sure. If only consumers did that, it is possible, cuz that's the only thing, I want Vivo to improve. That's also why people move towards OnePlus & IQOO to get UFS 3.1 & 4.0 speeds.
