            Vivo has already released 3 models using SD 7 Gen 3 soc (V30, S19, V40). Why hasn't Xiaomi release 1 model yet? Xiaomi's model line in the mid-range and upper-mid-range segment is very poor.

            I said Xiaomi lineup. Not either Redmi or Poco. They don't have allround specs. Coming soon Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro? I bet they still have 1080 @ 30 fps front video recording (based on K70 EE).. Lol

            Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 is enough for midrange and equip it with good overal camera just like Vivo did.

              Interesting choice of camera modules. Let's hope they've toned down al enhancement on
              this. I have the global x100 pro and the image quality on non-portrait is unmatched by any other Android and Apple phones I had. The overused of AI enhancement ruins the experience on portraits mode and selfie though.

                    You must know from your own tests that these Chinese screens the nits number is fake and impossible to get close to they still reach over 2000 nits peak so why not advertise the real numbers it must only do it for literally 1 white pixel not measurable or doesn't even reach it under any circumstances now they all doing it so they have to all one up each other and can't list the real numbers like with Samsung screens because people will perceive it as worse screen on a spec sheet

                        Okay V40 Series -- Let's Clear it.
                        > IP69 & IP68 Certification
                        > Surprisingly, Charger included which is a very smart move in order keep Indian market in check & away from Samsung & Oppo.
                        > As I said, it is INR 1000 more than V30 & 10000 more than V30 Pro if charger is included.
                        > Zeiss & 3 new additional filters plus improvement from S series cameras is a plus.
                        > No New Processor on Vanilla V40.
                        > Pricing is becoming high so that people aren't going for it as they were for V30. IQOO is getting Popular at same price.
                        > Squared Aura Light is a miss even though new one is brighter cuz Squared Covered most of the areas plus it looked nice with flash added in it as extra.
                        > I received & reviewed it. Gonna test it's durability soon. Cameras are improved but not that much for Vanilla V40.
                        > Don't buy V40 if you have V30. If you haven't bought V30 then you can but wait for Great Indian Festival Sale & Big Billion Days Sale. It will be Under INR 28K which will be best deal.
                        > I suggest to wait for next year V50 Series. Leaks tell that Telephoto is coming on Vanilla V50 plus new processor along with Zeiss which will make it Superb phone. S20 Series is launching in November 2024 which will make way for V50 Series in March 2025 in India.

                          This phone is very interesting

                            V40 Pro is the opponent of the Xiaomi 14 Civi... both use flagship SoC and nice camera. Both are good phones.

                              These smartphones are some sexy beasts

                              I wonder if gsmarena will review them probably not because they seem to have the iqoo z9 so maybe an overlap?

                                Why did the introduce them. The V40 is avaible in Czechia for more than 3 months.

                                    Why every phone is curved screen now? Even samsung is going back to flat screens.

                                      I might get this. Looks like the best midrange phone for camera and not so compromised performance.
