On the tech and innovation side, it's nice to see such development, but on the final product, it's just a big number to impress normal people. 80W ~ 100W was already more than enough.

Fast charging is there, for years. No problems with battery degradation whatsoever - heck, it is Apple one with battery degradation problem, and Samsung is one that had problem with exploding phones.

Not a single Chinese manufacturer had such issues :)

Oppo / Realme / OnePlus group is at the forefront of fast charging - from personal experience with Nord 2 and OnePlus 12R, battery longevity is even better than in other phones.

You never again leave phone on charger overnight, you never have to use phone and charge it in same time... Charging speed is precisely controled. Not like on my old Samsung A50, only phone where charging controler died after software update...

So, accept the fact that BBK Group is market leader when it comes to batteries, and that Apple and Samsung are indeed making sheeps of their buyers instead of taking megadoses of copium with each post...

That is no wander you haven't heard to much fuzz about the battery going downhill. As i've said, i am not saying that is not possible, but with the form factor their is just, one or the other, and both ways will heat the battery more or less. Their is a third possibility, that the device never charges at 320watt, at the end, USB C does not support it. That would be typical for chinese brands.

rather have a new battery tech eg solid state battery or one charge that last for 10 days of usage

We already have semi solid state batteries it's not IF it is WHEN

From the past 240W I'm still not seeing and 6 months fried smartphones

I'm going to bet on them knowing what their doing

Manufacturers have demonstrated with their actions the reality /risks of fast charging with plenty of measures in place but folks like your self just keep saying go boom in 6 months .. it's the same criticism that ignores every single measure they have added and I guess that easy to do because other it would mean putting effort in researching development of fast charging over the years

                        And that's too much work

                          So how is this possible?

Not saying is not possible, but with tech this days and the smartphone form fsctor, this tech is either soon to be superboom, either they install active cooling and let the air flow in and out, say goodbye to waterproofing and silent charging (which is actually not that bad of an idea for the phone to be a bit noisy when charging for the sake of keeping the battery in good condition), either they the battery to "supercharge" for about a minute and a half and after that, to significally decrese the watage, to keep the battery stable enough to not die in 6 months. Eitherway, the battery will be quite beaten by the time it reaches 2 years, if not fully damaged. If they came up with new tech and can charge a battery with this insane speeds without damaging it, i'm courious. I very much doubt tough. It is like believing that pigs can fly, even when you know they can't.

                              but still trash.. i know 320W b-but 4500mah.. MUST 5000-6000MAH

if 240w then 4300mah scam and flexing. keep away good charging with largest battery.
Realme teases 320W without asking about battery capacity.. dont reduce. if 5000-6000mah then its good and doesnt flex

STOP teasing more. Make 7000mah battery phones & give this charger. Use more powerful chargers only for tablets & laptops, they need more.

Demonicale, 12 Aug 2024I'm sure a company investing very heavily in this tech... moreYeah, they put a lot of R&D, actually not really but let's say that you are right...with this charging speeds they do not even need to plan obsolance, the charger will do that for them in less then 2 years, and that's a fact. Luckly tough, not to many will buy this, as not to many will give a s about superhot charging. Still tough, one device in the garbage, is one e-waste too much.

Superboom in about 2 seconds after starting to charge.
Letting jokes asside, they probably made a cluster of batteries, each charging with a given amount depending on how many, 4, 5 small batteries...or something like that. Still in a smartphone their is not enough space to let heat breake out fast enough. So most probably this batteries would be half good in less then 2 years mark. But who cares about e-waste in china anyway? Well, nothing impressive, i mean 100w is already more then enough, this here is for specs sheet zombies to have something else to brag about besides SoC.
