      So Vivo's going to the dark side and following Xiaomi's tactic. The 13 Pro was way too similar to the 13 Ultra so they nuked the 14 Pro but gave it variable aperture as compensation. Vivo's giving the Pro a 200 MP telephoto cam to make up for it, I just don't know how to feel about it.

      It makes business sense but it just feels a tad bit bad for the consumer, maybe the X100 Pro was indeed too good. I saw some comparisons of the 14 Pro with the 13 Pro/Ultra and in terms of natural depth/bokeh the 1 incher always one. If the base X200 gets the 1/1.28" sensor then it's good ig, a compact/base phone with nice cameras but idk man, this 1/1.28 to 1/1.33" sensor size has been used since 2020. If this were 1/1.12" then it'd have been good I think, the bokeh helps a lot in videography. Apple's processing is good but you can't perfectly recapture the bokeh of a good sensor

          Hardware wise, vivo, Oppo and Huawei are definitely leading the way. Boggles my mind knowing most people suggesting Samsung or iPhone based on blatantly paid reviews.

                    I hope they stop the over sharpening filter, it ruins everything in their photos, it makes the images look over processed. The trees/foliage are not natural.

                        Just wow. They are getting rid of the '1 inch' sensor in favor of a smaller sensor with brighter aperture paired with Sony's noise reducing technology. Does 'bigger the better' still relavant? I can't wait how it fairs against my outgoing X100 Pro.
