The Pixel 9 Pro Fold uses a side-mounted reader instead. Previously, the Pixel 8 and older models used optical fingerprint readers.

          They finally brought to the table something that's been overdue for 2 if not 3 gens.
          Nothing to write home about.

            I wonder, is this the small fingerprint reader from S21 onwards or is it the large one Vivo X80 Pro or the X90 Pro+ used? Whatever the case, it's not any reason to stomach a price hike, let alone a price hike that still contains a 128 gb model. Ew.

            If this is the smaller one, Vivo has one in the X100 Ultra and TWO in the X Fold3 Pro. If the Google phones are worthy of a price hike then what are those phones worthy of? lol, just greedy American businesses taking advantage of normal people.

              Finally, now that's a huge upgrade!

                  So it uses a fingerprint reader from qualcomm but not a cpu from qualcomm and also has a nice little price bump from last year's model.
