I know you are indian, but dont be so delusional - its because of the cheap labor and possible pollution increase due to operating big manufacturing / assembly places.

With 400 million people in the US and 1.5 trillion people in India, the difference is huge, we know that it's just to sell more phones that Apple did this act.

What about the quality of products?I am electrical/automation engineer and I know indian quality is far more bad compare to China.hopefully apple will be very strict on quality control.i will strongly suggest don't buy it from there untill they proves they can make things as good as others making.

Companies do follow some strict guideliness.
So, it should not be a concern.
And in india they are just doing assemble.
Most parts come from other countries.
Some apps proves that too when user checks manufacturer of those parts like sensors etc.
This days no company makes anything on there own.
They use different suppliers.
So, don't get into those marketing strategies of company claiming made in any country type comnents.
