The phones that do have it are overpriced but that's no different than what there is currently. A tier above, we would have S7G3/D8200, barely seen. I doubt Mediatek will come up with a successor anytime soon considering the age of the chipset.

That part isn't covered, so a new chip will cover that part which D7300 covers.

Dimensity 7400 according to Realme will compete with 7s gen 3, probably same cores as they have almost same Antutu score.

This soc is successor of 7 gen 3, 7s gen 2, 778G etc it's for people who like good enough perfomance paired with excellent battery life.

Well... I need to talk something about the newer chips and it seems that are that are meant to fully replace the old Flagships.
Snapdragon:
- 7 Gen 3 - Succesfully replaced SD888, despite is stronger than SD7 Gen 3, SD 888 is bad on terms of thermals.
- 7s Gen 3 - To replace SD 870
- 6 Gen 3 (Rumoured) - To replace SD 855/860
- 6s Gen 3 - Can beat SD 845 CPU wise, fails GPU wise.
Meanwhile Samsung tries to do the same, but is failing besides 1480:
- Exynos 1480 - The only instance who can beat the Exynos 990 and reach SD865 levels.
- Exynos 1380 - Can beat Exynos 9825 CPU wise, fails GPU wise.
- Exynos 1280 - Only Single core wise can beat the exynos 9810, in the rest fails.

Also there is a STRONG rumor that 6 Gen 3 would be an underclocked chip of this one and will target the Snapdragon 860. I don't be surprised if there is already the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3.
