    But the fact is that Xiaomi is managing to do what Apple is unable to do, namely build electric cars, and it does so in a much shorter development time than Apple ever planned. On the contrary, it recognizes its inability and prefers to end it before the fanboys on the other side make funny videos about it. 1:0 for Xiaomi!

They often make ... moreIt's called "vertical integration", where the software stack and the hardware stack are controlled by the same company like Apple and their iPhones (A series chips), Samsung and their Galaxies (Exynos), Huawei and their phones (Kirin) and Google and Pixels (Tensor). Sure, Qualcomm and MediaTek may make good chips but phone vendors have no control over how the chips are made or what features are made available in those chips.

          More competition in the SoC market is always good, as long as they are making reliable chips and not just wasting silicon on e-waste.

            I don't know what Xiaomi has in mind. They often make strange decisions. One of them is this. It is better to just buy a chipset from company that is certainly good than to develop a homemade one with more costs and risk of failure.

            Come on Xiomay, please don't make things that could potentially lead to this kind of loss and failure.

                              2. I don't think you ever unlock any xiaomi before.
                              Because you don't precisely know the Xiaomi Unlock / Xiaomi Account rule.

And the phone needs to be unlocked anyway for you to be able to even start the bootloader unlock process

                                  the company does this because they know a large portion of their users get rid of MIUI within days of buying the device, flashing, for example, PixelOS.

                                  Getting rid of MIUi represents a loss of ad revenue straight away, since their cheapest phones are partly ad-funded

I don't know if it's for select models, or if Pocos are exempt

                                        It's NOT designed for developer, it's designed for a regular Joe, so regular Joe won't do something crazy

                                        And, BTW, on MIUI, since Poco F1, I also never had Mi Account.
                                        And I could still install apps via ADB/USB to my phone.
