Yes, the Mate 40 models were some ... morehey man you do you, you're entitled to your opinion and i find your opinion interesting but i just think compared to the mate 40 this looks bland and basic. And they added the two tone option just to make it feel less basic/actually make it stand out. If it weren't for the two tone options it'd look quite mid i think.
Anyways, I still respect them for making the island/module centered! I have ALWAYS had a thing for centered camera modules and that's why I alwaysss loved the Mate series's design compared to the P series's.

Friends, note that Huawei is in a completely unequal battle compared to other brands making mobile phones, and it is still standing and fighting against the pressure of all these sanctions! If it were not for these ridiculous sanctions of the United States, you can be sure that no mobile brand could compete with Huawei today, don't doubt it.

Of course the global models should be upgraded to Harmony OS Next, it means that Huawei will be finally free of Google/Android and the effect of those US sanctions and can do their own thing. But it also means that users cannot sideload apks of apps not available in the AppGallery which can cause a lot of inconvenience. Personally, they should just bite the bullet and start from scratch on their own ecosystem. Those US sanctions do not look like they'll be lifted soon, if ever. Huawei is at the forefront and embodies China's tech innovation/development and the US is trying their hardest to take them down.

Kirin 9100 may be a 5nm chip. Will expect it to contain more Chinese components to bypass US sanctions. China roms may have Harmony OS Next which is not compatible with Android.

The ultrawide looks like it is now 48 MP rather than remaining at 12 MP.
