Weird a " new soc" that only supports old tech ( BT5.2), lpddr5 and ufs3.1exactly kirin 9000.

The only place where they are thriving is in smartwatches because of battery life. Huawei outside is a joke, selling outdated tech for very high prices and only fanboys can be proud of this. It's the only brand in the world that doesn't promise any OS updates support. And if you're comparing their CPU's with Tensor which is known for being very poor right from it's first generation, then it proves again my point on selling outdated tech. Good luck with that and being proud of a product that you have to install apps from 3rd party markets and with no promise of security and OS updates !

But your comment is absurd. Huawei is thriving even though the sanctions have hit hard. They have designed their own custom cores, and have fine tuned them to offer better performance across board. So, why won't I be proud?
Nonetheless, what Huawei needs is time. At least, the power efficiency of their chip is better than Tensor.

Same people bash M... moreTrue. In my country if you buy from their main website and not from other official dealers, they don't cancel your order. You have to wait for the order to arrive, you have to refuse it and then wait another 15 working days to receive your money. Huawei is a joke outside China, selling in 2024 tech from 2020. I've been a Huawei fan until I saw how they trea their customers and that was enough for me. I'm done with this joke brand. Warranty outside the 2 years period is again a nightmare and a joke if you buy from them and not other dealers.
Not to mention that Huawei is the only brand that barely offers any software support! The only brand that doesn't say how many years of software support they are going to offer. My Huawei MatePad Pro from 2020 receive only 1 major update, from EMUI 11 to Harmony OS 2.0 and that's how it died. Now, it's on August 2023 security pach. What a joke !

Multicore lower than 4500
No Exmor T cameras

Still gonna cost far above $1200 in China. Person has to be really dumb to get it over even OP13

Normal design, but I want to see how powerful is Kirin 9100.
Meanwhile Kirin 8000 was a decent introduction but deserves to be renamed as Kirin 7100 and introduce Kirin 8100 as the analogue of Dimensity 8200 at least.
And use the three chips...
- Kirin 9XXX on the flagship
- Kirin 8XXX on foldables and lite flagships
- Kirin 7XXX replacing Kirin 710A at last.
