Also, I assume that the back is still made of plastic; it just has a "glassy" feeling to it.

          So the differences are
          - 6.88 inch 120Hz instead of 6.74 inch 90Hz (same brightness as before)
          - 5160mAh instead of 5000mAh
          - 13MP selfie instead of 8MP
          - different chipset though seemingly very similar in specs
          - and what looks like a glass back instead of plastic on some models?

            That Helio G81 Ultra and the base model's 4GB of RAM makes this e-waste. The base model should start at 6GB of RAM, which is still a bit painful to run Android with but at least manageable. Otherwise would've had zero complaints and would've said it's a great phone for the price range.

              Redmi 14C price is too expensive for a G81 Ultra chipset,. the itel S24 can sell for $120 😏
