Fairphone 5 now has a cheaper 6/128GB variant and a new color to go with it

If this phone is intended for long-term use, why does it have to be so expensive? If you have €600 you can just buy a cheap mid range phone like Nothing Phone, Redmi Note and Realme for €300 the rest €300 you can use to upgrade in the next 3 years.

The phone's like paying 400-500 euros for the phone itself, the rest for donation to Africa. Which is somewhat fair enough, except you're buying a phone, not donating.
