Weekly poll: is the Honor Magic V3 the right foldable for you?

08 September 2024
The phone phone is thin and light - not just for a foldable, but even when compared to other flagships. And it is quite tough, as we ourselves have tested.

Call me Samsung fanboy, but i would rather get a Z Fold 6.

It may not be hyped as much as Samsung's mediocre Fold series, but it does make sense for an all-rounder foldable with minimum compromises.

Surprisingly yes. I didnt have high hopes and was going for Fold6, but they fixed everything The V2 still lacked and had instant availability and gave me 400€ discount. Hard to say no :p

Already pre-order one green color. I believe Folds have taken enough time to develop and V3 seems it fixed most of the major complains ( bulk, weight, durability) at least on paper until i get the unit and get to spend time with it.

Not everybody wants a tablet. A Foldable serves the purpose of being both a tablet and a smartphone.
Y'all are just soo blind to innovation.

2 things put me off this phone - the software and the after-sales customer support. That's why I'm happy with my fold6, software so much more polished than others and I know if something happens to the phone I'd get a fairly quick response. When my oneplus open broke after 31 days they took 3 months to fix it, I can't see Honor being much different unfortunately.

It will be the right foldable for a lot of folks, after the price drops significantly. $2000 is just too much for a consumable that'll live for a maximum of 4-5 years.

Folding phones are only useful for a collector to keep them in a showcase, such devices are not useful for everyday use!

If the X Fold3 Pro weren't there this'd have been the best foldable out there rn. The X Fold3 Pro solos this one in terms of nearly every usability cases.
