Good designs, awful processors... at least 7s Gen 3 is needed for phones that are supposed to be for gamers.

Kudos for trying
But LCDs and depth sensors are a public offense on ANY smartphone in 2024.

Calling phones with interchangeable back covers "modular" has to be the most brain dead thing to say.

I like what HMD is doing, but I fear that they won't have success in the market. Design and stock android are a nice combo, but with that low-end specs not many people are going to buy it.

HMD Fusion looks like a game changer with its modular design and customizable covers! The ability to add features like wireless charging or a ring light is super practical. Plus, 3D printing your own designs? That's next-level personalization. Strong specs for the price too

They first need to start with very low price, cause is basically new player on the market ( people doesn't know the brand ). But with this kind of prices they has no chance.

It would make more sense if they had better hardware for it like especially cpu that is not bottom end snapdragon 4 gen 2.
Gamepads are cheap with bluetooth or plug in to type-c plug and there is a loads of different versions of them. For this there be only that HMD version that probably be like 150 euro.
For camera have some module to be attached but then still wont support better features cause it have SD 4 gen 2 that dont support a lot of things.
Battery bank case can be done with wireless charging.
I see this as pretty useless cause of it's too low end hardware so there is no point to innovate gadgets for it.

Nice with all the accessories, but all in vain with such hardware. Gaming controllers for a Snapi 4 processor...

They could have atleast gone for 6 gen 1 or bette processor. Display is pretty disappointing too

modular... with few back covers... gamming pad... in low-spec hardware... for around 240 bucks...
No wonder that HMD spend more money on advertising and sport promotion as they need to compensate all those bad devices they make.

I'll give them credit, at least they're doing something interesting, even if few people will probably be interested in buying it.
