The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is coming to India next week, will offer 5 OS updates

This mid-ranger is equipped with a 120Hz LTPO display, a telephoto camera, fast wired charging and extended support. While not tiny, it's smaller than most Androids.

Minu, 09 Sep 2024Almost all of these is available on the Moto G35.g35 has 18w. My g32 has 30w. I will never go back. In reality I have no need to change my phone, only if it satisfy my category, but i guess I have to wait not less than 1 year

The A52 works fine on Android 14. It's the last version update though, I believe, and it won't be getting OneUI7.

I've also owned it since launch and it got better with each update. Just like the A54 I also own.
Samsung may have used to release horrible software before but in the past five years have significantly improved their UI even on the low end devices

I'm truly shocked. Why this device, the Neo, over the Regular Edge 50, which also launched at the same time?
Why does the neo get 5 years of OS updates and not the Ultra or Pro? Or even the Fusion and 50 Edge?

5 Years Updates is a gimmick. 5 Years Updates on stock Android means you'll face battery drain quite a lot along with performance degradation & lag issues. Only if this phone comes under INR 19000 without bank offers & 17000 with bank offers then it can be considerable deal.

As I have said, phones with weaker SoC compared to 50 neo will be using out of box future android versions.

Anyway, just tiny % of 50 neo users will be using it ( maybe none of them) when android 19 comes out.
