How do you protect the exposed edge of the screen? It will take more wear than the rest of the screen

For such a flagship device why even bother with 256/512GB versions? I'll make a guess here that the global version will come with just 1TB of storage.

jiyen235, 11 Sep 2024I intend to use phones for 2-4 years. I don't care abo... moreFor your use case, it definitely makes sense to go with higher battery capacities. As I mentioned earlier, to me, the optimal battery size for any user seems to be something which (in the initial months) allows you to get through a typical day with 60-65% of battery consumption. A 85% - 20% charge/discharge cycle also ensures that your battery remains healthy even after 3 years of usage (around 750-800 complete cycles resulting in around 10-15% battery degradation).
If the battery size is even 10% less than this benchmark, you would have longer charge-discharge cycles, which would start deteriorating your battery exponentially.
But I also contend that the aforementioned benchmark is good enough, and anything above that is certainly not essential, and you would end up carrying a thicker and heavier device than required.
Since I am a moderate user, this benchmark would be reached at around 6000 mAH (for this device), and for your use case, it might very well be 7000 mAH.

Anonymous, 11 Sep 2024I want one, I don't care about being seen. I don'... moreWell then you're one of the percentage or buyers who see the use of a tablet and phone in one. Nothing wrong with that if it fits your needs.

Anonymous, 11 Sep 2024Really, You must be kidding me 😂👍 😭😭😭😭Why would I need to joke about my own experience? I've been on the squarish foldable phone bandwagon before and never had any moment where I missed going back to it. Also, for all the hype of squarish foldable phones, it turns out that dual display is a much more practical proposition, especially app support.

Not really expensive for what you're getting. A truly one of a kind engineering marvel that will turn heads. Not your basic iPhone that's for sure.
