          Notice how Sony is announcing the PS5 Pro instead of having games on the PS5.

            Get a regular PS5. Diference in real life gaming is hard to see, but price is almost double. Plus a separate disc for more than 100$/€...

              Bruh ... That's a thousand USD PS5 pro with disc and stand included ( excluding games).......

I don't think that Sony dares to challenge Nintendo. It's too risky. AFAIK, currently, most profits of Sony come from PlayStation. Sony isn't in a position to take a considerable risk.

                    OG was £450 at launch, Pro is £700. Crazy pricing, was expecting £600 max.

                      LOL.

                        They could make a gaming handheld that could run PS4 games.. with today's mobile chips being so fast, soon if the active users are increasing automatically game developers will look at this Sony handheld. This is what happened like the Nintendo Switch. Even very demanding games are forced port to Switch, which has very weak hardware.

                          leaks were suggesting the release to be alongside Gta 6.
                          So we got PS5 pro before Gta6...Lol

                              Consoles were supposed to be cheap to reduce barrier to entry for gaming. It is better to just build a PC at this price point. You can easily get a Ryzen 5 7500F + RX 6700 XT in this budget with new components. Yes, it won't be as powerful but you'll be saving more on Games. Plus, you can emulate, stream, buy games from multiple sources. Even use gamepass on it.

                              At $800 (700 + Disc Drive), parents will instead just buy their children a gaming laptop instead.

                                What a joke again :)) As big phones brands Samsung,Apple are doing every year with minor upgrades,same design now Sony is doing on the same way!I am not buying again something that don't have a noticeble upgrade,or for the right price!I will keep longer my PS5 ,my phone...no more to support these companies with my own money to become billionaires scamming people with market strategies like this!!!

                                    To play the way PS told you could with the regular PS5 one. Good luck with that!

                                      I think it's fair to say at this point that PlayStation has gone way too out of touch with gamers.
