OnePlus 13 appears on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and flexes wicked CPU clock speeds

The benchmarks reports the main CPU cores could make it the smartphone chipset with the highest clock speed yet.

xslvrxslwt, 11 Sep 2024As people below told y'all - can't compare it, mo... moresure but the 6 cores are larger than the 8 cores, and have an insane amount of l2 cache (like 14mb of l2 on the a17p), vs the somewhat slower (latency wise) and likely smaller l3 on the s8g4 (the g3 only had 12mb of l3). its all part of cpu design, and considering that you cant really opt for "i want my samsung with 6 cores but make them bigger" or "i want my iphone with 8 cores" its the only comparison that ultimately matters.

        I guarantee you, single core boost in Apple draws as much power as QC at the same frequency.

Just wait for Geekerwhatever guy's video..the power curve is what matters anyway (yes, peak burst performance too for loading apps n stuff but let's see the efficiency)

                    Although it's 3nm TSMC, pretty sure this was made using last year fabrication process. As Apple already called dibs on TSMC LATEST fabrication process for its A18 Pro Bionic. That's why they're compensating it with a higher clock speed.

                    TSMC is fully booked and Apple will always be the first in line for its latest fabrication process.

I'm not interested in panel technology, I want a wider aspect ratio like the Samsung Galaxy Notes were... Mainly the Note 20 Ultra, that was a beautiful wide and less tall screen
