        Few months before 8g3 got announced, I said here OEMs already had samples of 8g4 to test and multicore would reach 10.000.

                    Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is S**T.
                    Why? Doesn't it finally beat a year old Apple chip?! Isn't that good?!

                    No. SD8G4 is boosting up to 4.37GHz while A17 Pro @ 3.78GHz and SD8G4 barely beats it in single core (no wonder, double power consumption). Also Apple's SoC has 2(+) less cores (and the configuration ia different too).

                    So the last year Apple's SoC still has (at least) 6% higher IPC while (probably, or most definitely) using like half the power.

                    50%+ more power just to "beat" the A17Pro..we'll still need to see the power curve, how it scales and everything but leaks have not been so optimistic (which is not hard to believe in knowing how many changes happened & shitcomm). I'm more excited about the D9400's performance (ikik MTK has poor ISP, more closed, less optimized for gayming etc etc)

                      They have no problem comparing across platforms and saying they are the best

                      So why do random commentors on the internet feel the need to say they are not comparable???

                                      Just when the new A18 pro is announced, Snapdragon really swept the competition

                                        Hopefully the panel is 19.5 less tall and wider like the iPhone and what Google is trying to do with the pixel 9 pro xl!!
