At the time when we all ha... moreMany of the buyers own an iphone with lightning port. A great amount mostly in us don't have usc c cables that they own. Maybe in the house, but it's not them and might be occupied.
On the other hand, if apple ship a usb c to c cable, the ones i talked about don't have a usb c charger either. So they have to buy a new cable nonetheless. And the ones owning a usb c iphone, well they have usc c cable anyway.

I never support apple and never buy any apple product. But this isn't a big deal. Everyone has charger and cable. Absolutely not a big deal.

Why would I need another cable? I have 3 charging bricks and 5 USB c cables just from buying phones. Anyway I wouldn't use a short garbage quality cable, I would have to buy a longer one if I didn't have any. Everyone can buy themselves a cable for cheap, and most ppl already have abundance of it at their homes. Unlike the charging case, which (to my knowledge) people won't have when buying this model of air pods. So it doesn't make sense to not include the case

If you're buying new air pods you've already got an iPhone, so you've already got a charging cable. Unless of course you're still using an "old" iPhone that uses a lightening cable 🙄
