Any phone can be made thinner if you dont care about IP rating, cooling chamber, and durability.

Nothing special about this mediocre half-baked prototype of Huawei trifold 👍

Not to mention it also comes with 4 gen behind chipset.

Explaining away it's simplicity by arguing the PHYSICAL aspect of packaging

When mass production of newer battery chemistry combinations to the market has objectively been difficult for decades

And to do that you have to be completely ignorant or blatantly ignore si-ca batteries' contribution the the slimness of a device

But let's talk at the point you presented, so tell me if dual cell etc is some simpleton easy thing to engineer why has this implementation been prevalent in laptops but virtually missing in smartphones for generations??

How comes quad cell batteries have been virtually non existent in laptops of much bigger size and is only just recently prototyped in 1 realme device?

mmWaves is a dead end. 3GHz-7GHz 5G is the future.
Just look at China, Hong Kong, Dubai already have a 5G-advanced network with 10GBps download speed. And at the end of 2023 China will have 80 city with 90% 5G-A coverage.

And, unlike mmWaves, this 5G-Advanced signal can be used in you're restroom, gym, park, etc.

Doing this with the limitations in the U.S. is insane; imagine how it would be without those limitations! I thought phone companies had stopped innovating until I looked at Huawei.

Imagine what Huawei's innovations will be like after four years! What will they achieve? I believe that six years of Huawei's innovations with foldables will surpass Samsung's.

Which one has dust prot... moreI trust Huawei to provide reliable software updates with their own operating system. While seven years of updates from Samsung may seem appealing, I do not intend to keep my phone for more than four years. As for dust protection, the Mate XT may lack it, but that reflects their bold experimentation and innovation. They were launched around the same time as the less-than-stellar iPhone 16, indicating that they are clearly pushing boundaries. Not everyone relies on Google apps; personally, I find Harmony OS's Petal Maps and Petal Search to be quite impressive, even though they are still developing. Concerning 5G, it is nice to have, but I would not expect it to be reliable in the near future. Although the Mate XT may not have the most storage space, it still features a substantial 5600 mAh battery. Therefore, while every phone has its trade-offs, Huawei offers a unique combination of features that is worth considering. If I were to get a foldable phone, I would not choose the Huawei, as it seems more like an experiment, and I would not select the Samsung either; I would prefer something like the OnePlus Open.
