I disagree with you, its not about reliability of companies only, you compared the screen and size but you forget to compare the cost and weight.

Which one gets updates for 7 years? Which one has dust protection? Which one has Google apps and the G store? Which one fit 5G hardware and the required cooling space inside it? Yeah, I thought so.

Yeap it really puts things into perspective that the tri-fold dont have much space for hardware but still have space for 5600mAh battery

"just look at the image above. 0.7 mm is almost imperceptible of a difference to the human eye"

And yet, you have bashed several devices before for being too thick (remember that review of the XZ2 Compact?).

As always, another marketing space paid by for Huawei.

That is embarassingly bad for Samsung. Brand recognition really means nothing. Only hardcore brand loyalist would try to defend it.

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2024Mate xt is not waterproof. Is it a fair comparison? It's a first-generation product, and quite frankly, is so rock solid for one that you might as well forgive it for not having an IP rating when it makes up for it in many other areas. Sure, the lack of water- and dust-resistance is a huge problem — in fact one of the main reasons why I don't have a foldable yet, even though I'd love to have one — but I doubt it'll take more than one or two more iterations for it to gain those.
