The Pro Max may have gotten too big and the Plus just never got popular. The iPhone 16 Pro and the vanilla 16 have some positives, though.

      I'd rather take the flagship of the last couple of years than the newer iPhone.

        Eh. What is considered declining sales for Apple, the other manufacturers can only dream of such sales. During the quarters until the end of the next financial year, Apple's phones, including the 16 Pro and the Max, will be at the top of the ten best-selling phones in the world.

He was referring to the fact that most people here on GSMArena are Android users, and Android users, pretty much most of them, either jokingly or seriously, hate on iPhones. And so, these iPhone voting polls will result in most votes being "No, I don't want an iPhone" or similar things. And therefore, it's not a very accurate representation

                Smartphones have already hit the technology limitations so it's expected that we wont see any special features as of the moment

                  asking people on gsmarena about iPhones is just weird man, the people who buy the base iphone 16 are normies and they don't really care. Fanboys will cope about whatever deficiencies their brand has and hate on others' ones, all the time. Normies are gonna buy the base 16 regardless, scamsung fanboys are gonna buy the S24 Ultra still and there'll still be some asylum escapee advocating for the pooxel 9 pro xl.

                  my point is, this ain't exactly representative of the crowd that'd buy these phones. most people here are android users and iphone haters.

                    What are you on about? In my country, preorders for the 16 Pro Max are stacked all the way until the 10th of November (for the base 256gb models). A poll ran on a site full of Apple haters will show (obviously) a lowered interest in Apple iPhones.
