SD 8 Gen 2 or equivalent... moreNot every person need sd 8 gen 2, there is a reason why A5x is in top 10 of most sold phones every year, for majority of people even Exynos 1480 is overkill, average user will benefit more from A5x features than more perfomance.

Only ultra models are good, but their size and price tag are bitter.. here come Chinese phones for people who don't need Wacom pen and such big devices. Prices are also lower, see 13t Pro for example

The camera difference is totally something that is user preference as Samsung camera app is heavy on filtering with brightness and contrast.
Also i am under average user. I dont care of these chip names 720 510 what ever. I dont understand them what so ever where clock speeds are similar. I look only Antutu scores as it's the only benchmark i understand
Also it's enthusiasts who look for the chips and cameras performance and these people want the best and latest that are in flagship category. At best what average user is looking is the Samsung 5-7 years software support

Rest of the 7 series is just rebrand or 778/780/782

A55 stability 99.4% - 2... morePerformance + too much bloated services by Samsung. Their SW is good, but...it would be great if people could uninstall it on demand.
Still A series is rock solid for years, cannot be compared to any other brand in terms of stability and overall quality.

A55 temp 25°-33° - 24U 31°- 44° with all heatpipes and more.
So performance is only downside

Not gonna pay 200 bucks for OneUI, ufs 3.1, FHD+ and a price that ended up getting nearly halved (-40%) two months from launch. Also not a camera person and daylight photos are more than sufficient. Plus, my friends have iPhones so I just rip them off their social media posts if the photo was worth saving.
You do you. I'll keep buying from China lol.

A5x it's for average user, they use most efficient core available, for this year it's going to be A720, which will benefit more average user.
S2xFE it's for Enthuasist and those who want budget flagship, this year it's Going to Use Exynos 2400 which is better than 8 gen 2 and has more value than most of those Chinese phones at same price.
These phones price difference is not much you choose one which fit your needs.
Comparing A5x with budget flagship while it target average users who cares more for all around phone than perfomance doesn't make sense.

It has one of the best sd card reader ever made, better ip ratings, Alluminium frame, better display etc.
