Just a reminder that in some countries, their A55 was sold at $200 more than X6 Pro lmao. Of course, software and cameras were subpar but the difference was not worth 200 bucks.

The A56 may have cpu comparable to sd 888 but for the price of an A56, one can just buy a chinese phone with a CPU comparable to 8 gen 2

if only samsung uses snapdragon 7 gen midrange chipset it would sell tons of phone but its decided to stick with exynos. other brands that uses snapdragon midrange are all better phone. i know coz I uses a poco f5 performance wise non of the A series can come close

Hanif Fikri, 21 hours agoI could get sd 8 gen 2 phone at a56 price by next year...Exactly, these phones are so expensive compared to anything coming out of CN. And the build quality is worse, too. OneUI is very nice but in my opinion 6.0 went downhill with a couple of bad changes they made. Now some of the Xiaomi midrangers and a few POCOs even get 3 years of updates or more. I rock one of these purely because they still have microSD slots but as soon as I can get a Note 14 or similar variant with 512GB im switching.

Finally match $300 Chinese phone performance... Even the recent Infinix with D8200 is equivalent to SD888. Since the A56 was released in 2025, there are more and more cheap phones faster than this.
