Have you all lost the ability to count?
This phone is a bifold phone. It has two hinges and it's impossible to fold it 3 times so it cannot be a trifold phone.

    Nice phonr, but; We need Foldable Roll Screen phones... Two Fold or Tri Fold Phones have hollow in middle of screen. We need Pure Flat Screen. Only way is Roll Foldable Screen System...

      I hate to be repetitious but the 'low sales' for small form factor phones is supposed to be the reason they aren't on the market; charts I've seen show anywhere from 25-15% of sales at their cancellation.
      So what percent of the market is buying a $3000 bi-crease unit? We don't have a Huawei Hotline or Motorola Minimax with a 5.0 display and camera that isn't potato-grade because we've got to market (not sell) a fold up tablet that's going to sell 500 units? Just one major manufacturer, please, a non-foldable pocket size phone !

            anyways, i don't think i can judge it so fast, just yet. the magic v3 seems to have an especially inefficient inner screen with less optimization done for it it seems.

            Also, this is an innovative piece of tech. Normal foldables already cost 2k usd. This has better cameras than the Z Fold6, already making it worthy of a higher price. I get that this is prohibitively expensive but innovative stuff is always expensive. Look at the RTX 2000 series cards, the super cars and hyper cars, etc.

                Why doesn't anyone use the tri -fold like a laptop

                This to me separates it utility wise from "duo folds"

                Everyone is ONLY opening it like a book come on guys be innovative in it's usage too stop the typical standing and closing demonstrations.. it's bleeding edge tech show case it better

I'd say it started out 3-4 years ago. Because back then Huawei had a 90 hz display on the Mate X2 and they last had a 90 hz flagship in the form of the mate 40 pro in 2020.

                            Anonymous, 4 hours agoOk, GSM Arena, on the scale of amazing how amazing this phone is?I would say about 8/10 amazing simply because it is unique. The hardware is surprisingly refined all around. Still, I wouldn't personally jump on a first gen product especially at this price. But if amazing is what you are after it currently doesn't get more amazing in the smartphone realm.

                                    i just can't get over how beautiful the color is, zamn, i love this. it's a shame that the display is "only" 90 hz but hey, first gen product so yeah.

                                    Im more curious about the battery, how good is it gonna be? gsmarena has gotta do 3 tests on each of the screen states to give us an accurate idea, a lot of work yeah but it'll be worth it imo. saw a video by a chinese reviewer that showed battery life that is similar to/slightly better than the Mate X5. Not bad.
