Reminds me of pencil cases from school days. Horrible looking creases and very soft screen contribute to that.

Ken, 21 Sep 2024I doubt how practical such a foldable phone can be. I thin... moreYeah two devices is more practical than one ... oh wait it is not. Why would it be?

I doubt how practical such a foldable phone can be. I think a phone plus an ipad mini makes better sense.

Sam, 21 Sep 2024Obviously, if it were an Apple, reviewers would be gushing.... moreIt probably is possible to use it like a laptop with the bottom folded section as a keyboard in the upright position or paired with a bluetooth keyboard.

darkmax, 21 Sep 2024I have a mixed feeling about this GSMArena's review. D... moreObviously, if it were an Apple, reviewers would be gushing.
Their Vision Pro was cut so much slack. TheVerge gave the latest iPhone an 8.0, even while struggling to identifying anything over a 15, other than camera options that even they struggled to comprehend/use. And I think most people point/shoot with iPhones.
And if was an Apple (or Google) phone, it would have that ecosystem of apps that I doubt this has. Audible? Instagram? And the zillion of less popular ones that we all use (e.g. Chase bikes in NYC).
I always wonder what all those Apple engineers are doing. I "want" this phone. The split keyboard and the big display seem pretty wonderful. My 13 inch laptop perhaps truly could become optional. And watching Netflix on long plane trips on a phone is a drag.

darkmax, 21 Sep 2024I have a mixed feeling about this GSMArena's review. D... moreI would love to have one to be honest. I take reviews with a pinch of salt cause they can be biased a tiny bit sometimes. This is the exact foldable I have been waiting for to be honest. The perfect aspect ratio for video content folded and fully unfolded. I've owned Huawei's before and have great experience in many aspects including cameras, battery, display quality and general performance. I this if I had the kind of money for the asking price, I would get it even with short-comings (US ban - Google integration). I'd learn the work arounds. I love tech advancements and hate blind brand loyalty because that slows progress, manufacturers become lazy and see no rush and give silly incremental upgrades (wouldn't even call them that, same phone every year). Better chip.. oooh, brighter display.. oooh, tiny camera improvement.. oooh. But then one comes with radical form-factor change, 3 in 1 device... neh that's not exciting at all. What have we become, sheep / followers? I'm personally buzzing for this device....

darkmax, 21 Sep 2024I have a mixed feeling about this GSMArena's review. D... moreThis is an extremely refined foldable compared to the first galaxy fold. People complain about the crease but it's no worse than the crease on the display of the Z Fold 6.
I agree that the reviewer appears to be confused by foldable phones.

Anonymous, 20 Sep 2024Surely it's a bi-fold phone and nott a tri-fold? There... morethe display consists of three parts that fold...

This is fun to use but the handling and care level would be like taking care newbord chihuahua.Very fragile.
One drop one hard surface would kill the screen.Unless u latch it always in your neck

I have a mixed feeling about this GSMArena's review. Does the reviewer like it, or not? At first paragraph the comment was quite positive, but as you read on, there are a lot more complaints. Plenty of contradictions.
Here's my question: If this were Apple's iPhone, would this be a revolutionary game-changer sort of review? Or is there certain amount of bias?
Huawei has always been known for their camera capability, so don't have to doubt about it.
To those who complain about the size and such, remember that this is a "first". And people did make the same comment about the very first Galaxy Note. Look at the sizes of phones these days, they are all bigger than that initial phone.

This phone is a b... moreI agree with you on the trifold-bifold terminology. However, I hope you made the same comment when Samsung came out with its first fold phone.
I honestly think they should have used the moniker of "Galaxy Note" (a great branding, imho) for their folded phones, instead of retiring the name.
